The best thing about product training

I had the best spinach I have ever had in my entire life today. It was nothing like what you know spinach to be when cooked. I was the most beautiful shade of green and the taste was fresh and wonderful. It was not mushy or watery and I tell you EVERYONE LOVED IT even those who HATE the stuff.

The best thing about product training in Philly (besides being able to track down a decent cheesesteak) is that many of the manufactures have these wonderful and wondrous beings I like to call food gods but you might just call them corporate chefs. Their sole job is to make you wonderful food all the while demonstrating how awesome their equipment and machines are. And man are these things cool. I saw a 1 inch thick steak cook to perfection in about 7 minutes. It was divine. All I can say is that if I could afford to but a Convotherm (by Cleveland) oven in my own personal kitchen I would! I should open a restaurant just so I can have this bad boy to make perfect spinach and the best damn “grilled” cheese sandwich you have ever had!!!

On a realted note I would also like to recomend that all sales people in the world, no mater what you sell, go visit with John and Rob out at the Isinger plant in Philadelphia. Not only has that company been around since 1893 the owner is a hoot! Not to mention one hell of a good sales man. John and Rob will teach you more about selling in 4 hours then most people learn in 4 years of sales. Universal sales tips all around. Stuff that my mentor teaches to real estate folks.

Anyway my product training with P.E.A.K (Pride Excellence Achievement Knowledge) has been amazing and I am really glad that I was able to take part!

More from Philly (including my philly cheesesteak adventure) coming soon. For now I am off to soak my poor tired feet in the hot tub and enjoy a night of peace and quite.

Hey, Kelly! I’m glad you’re having a good time. Brand new experiences are always so cool – I love to travel for work – it’s just nice to know it doesn’t cost you a dime. Take care and I’ll be looking forward to your next post.

I kinda like the restaurant idea – let’s talk!
